Daytime Wise Aging:
Living with Joy, Resilience and Spirit
facilitated by Rabbi Eva Sax-Bolder
Teach us to use all of our days
That we may attain a heart of wisdom.
In conjuction with the 14th Street Y, Rabbi Eva presents a daytime session of "Wise Aging.”
We will address many of the opportunities and challenges we are facing as we transition through our aging years. This program invites us to embrace life and live more consciously, joyfully and compassionately by offering powerful tools for giving expression to the wisdom of our own ripening lives. We will explore these pertinent issues as well as glean from the wisdom of Jewish and other traditions to inspire and enrich us as we transition into our later years and plan for life completion.
Through group and individual exercises, mindfulness practices, journaling, readings and discussions, we will address the following themes:
Exploring this stage of Life; How do we view being an ‘Elder’
Cultivating Nourishing Relationships
Forgiveness and Loss
Legacy and Stewardship
I am my Body; I am not my Body
