In Search of Israeli Cuisine
A Film by Roger Sherman




Join us for a special screening of the Film In Search of Israeli Cuisine, by Roger Sherman. The film is a portrait of the Israeli people told through food, conflict and all. It's been shown at more than 140 film festivals around the world and 30 theaters across the US, and now the Shul of New York and friends will have a unique opportunity to see it. 

Roger Sherman is a Shul congregant and the founder of Florentine Films. His work has been honored with an Emmy, a Peabody, a James Beard Award and two Academy Award nominations.

The screening will take place on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 7pm in the Social Hall of Middle Collegiate Church (50 East 7th St, Click for map).

In addition to the film, and a Q&A with Roger Sherman, enjoy a tasting of delicious foods from the Zahav cookbook!

Tickets are $36 until November 3rd and $45 from November 3rd to 9th and at the door.
