Quarantine Announcement

My Dearest Shul Family and Friends,

It is with great love and concern for the health of our community that we at The Shul of New York are reaching out to you. As we go forward, it is important to consider our community’s potential exposure to COVID-19 and especially to be attuned to those who are most vulnerable.

We continue to monitor the situation through directives from the Mayor’s Office, the CDC and local faith communities. We have been informed that Middle Collegiate Church is canceling all in-person programing which precludes our meeting together.

We are sad to report that until further notice, The Shul of New York  will cancel all in-person gatherings.
Together we will establish ways to be together and avoid being drawn into isolation. Please send me your thoughts so we can weather this storm together.

For your own peace of mind it is important not to succumb to the online rumor mill. Do not trust information on facebook, twitter, or other social media unless you know the source.

It is better to go directly to reputable news sources, the CDC website, and the New York City website. You can get official information and updates directly from Notify:NYC by texting COVID to 692-692.
We invite you to reach out to us and your friends for continued support and compassionate love.

My heart reaches out to you with blessings,
Rabbi Eva
