Farewell letter from a friend

Dear Rabbi Eva and The Shul of New York,

I hope you are all well! I am very sorry to have not seen you in so long but want you to know that although I may have been absent in body this past year, I have not forgotten you in my heart.
My husband Orin and I will be relocating to California (San Jose, about 40 minutes south of San Francisco) this month. Around July 15th (or as soon as the packing is done!) we will drive the 3000 miles with a dog and 2 cats in tow.
I want to thank each and every one of you for consistently welcoming me (and the hubby the 2, i think!, times he made it to Shul!) and for allowing me to feel a part of the community as a volunteer during High Holidays. I can't tell you how much it meant to find so much warmth and openness in one place. You are all an  inspiration of what community should be. I hope to continue learning about Judaism and being a force of good once we settle in Cali!
Please feel free to ask Rabbi Eva for my contact info and keep in touch/give a shout if you are ever visiting the West Coast and Bay Area (or Napa!!!)
Love and Blessings To You All!
PS - Dear Shul Band, you were my favorite part -shhhh don't tell the others! - Keep rocking out!
Dear Katie and Orin,
We will miss you, too.  Thank you for being a part of The Shul of New York Family.  We wish you health, happiness, and all good things.
And if you ever find yourself back in NYC, we will be here with open arms and hearts.
