Captivating talks by fascinating authors in a private home!

Join the Shul community for lively lectures and discussions of interesting books with the authors who wrote them.

Wednesday, October 30th at 7pm.  

Meet Hugh B. Price, former head of the National Urban League and former Senior VP at WNET/Thirteen, to discuss This African-American Life, his reflections on his life in media, politics and his African-American lineage.


Wednesday, December 11th at 7:30pm.

Meet Marisa Bardach Ramel as she speaks about The Goodbye Diaries: A Mother-Daughter Memoir, a book with many Jewish themes, written with her mother at a time when Marisa was a teenager and her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Light refreshments will be served.

The talks are held in private homes; address in confirmation email.

This is a free event.

The suggested donation is $18 per person per session.

The donation is optional and any amount is appreciated greatly.
