Captivating talks by fascinating authors in a private home!

Join the Shul community for lively lectures and discussions of interesting books with the authors who wrote them.

Wednesday, February 12th at 7pm

Mark Horn will be discussing his book, Tarot and the Gates of Light. Mark uses the ritual of Counting the Omer as a template for a guided meditative practice that gives readers insight into their personal life journey and help in overcoming the issues that hinder their growth and spiritual awakening. Examining the correspondence of the Tarot’s minor arcana with the Sephirot of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, he shows how using the cards in connection with Counting the Omer can unlock the gates to a deep experience of the sacred.

Mark is a performing storyteller and has taught traditional Jewish storytelling. We are sure this will be a fun and informative evening.

IMPORTANT:  No prior knowledge of tarot or kabbalah is necessary to enjoy the evening. If you have a Waite-Smith tarot deck feel free to bring it.

Light refreshments will be served.

The talks are held in a private home in Greenwich Village; address in confirmation email.

This is a free event.

The suggested donation is $18 per person per session.

The donation is optional and any amount is appreciated greatly.
