The Shul of New York celebrates Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur at the beautiful and historic Angel Orensanz Foundation on the Lower East Side, one of the oldest surviving gothic-revival synagogues in New York City.
Please plan to join Rabbi Eva Sax-Bolder (Read Rabbi Eva's bio here.) for our next High Holiday celebration to experience uplifting and moving services, the extraordinary music of Adam Feder and The Shul Band and, to celebrate with Rabbi Emeritus Burt Siegel, and the entire Shul of New York Family.
HIGH HOLIDAY TICKETS are available starting on August 1st. Please join our mailing list to receive Shul news, updates, and important information.
Paper mailings are very expensive, so please consider giving us your email address. Starting in 2016, paper mailings will only go to registered Shul members without an email address on file.
KIDS’ HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES for children aged 12 and under are held on the lower level of Orensanz during the daytime services on both Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
The Kids' High Holiday program features a fun and educational, age-appropriate experience for kids of all ages. We'll start with all the kids together for a short service to learn about and delight in specific themes and rituals for each holiday; followed by age-appropriate activities led by our amazing staff. Then all will share in the Torah Service with Rabbi Eva.
You can see pictures from previous High Holiday Services (and other events) on the About the Shul page.
We are pleased to provide ASL interpretation at all High Holiday services.
