May Their Memory Be a Blessing
The Roll of Remembrance is your opportunity to commemorate the loved ones you have lost and wish to memorialize.
The Roll of Remembrance will be updated and displayed four times a year for the four times we recite Yizkor:
2020/21 Schedule
Yom Kippur (Sept 27)
Simchat Torah/Shemini Atzeret (Oct 10)
Passover 8th Night (Apr 16)
Shavuot (May 28)
You may add your loved ones at any time during the year, but to be included in the update for a particular holiday you must submit the form at least 1 week before.
On Yom Kippur we will start a new Roll of Remembrance for the new year.
Display a photo of your loved one.
You have the option of submitting a picture of your loved one as well as a personal message for inclusion in the online Roll of Remembrance.
In addition to listing your name and the name of those being remembered, we encourage you to share a brief message of remembrance (up to 180 characters). You may use the message to honor, describe, share a quote, or express your thoughts and feelings.
Examples (character counts are shown to illustrate length):
Sarah & Abe Wolf,
In memory of his father Hiram Wolf
Beloved father and grandfather. A role model for his children. A loving and supportive husband to his wife. May you rest in peace. (129 chars.)
The Goldstein Family,
In memory of their brother Ben
The world has never been the same since you left it, Ben. You are more special than we can ever say. We will remember you always. You are always our loving father, grandfather, husband, brother. (192 chars.)
The suggested donation for inclusion in the Roll of Remembrance is
