Shabbat Services

The Shul of New York meets for Shabbat services on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month in the Social Hall in the annex building of Middle Collegiate Church (unless otherwise noted).  The date of the next service is listed in the column to the right and on our Calendar.

Unless otherwise noted, Shabbat services are held at in the Social Hall in the annex building of Middle Collegiate Church, 50 East 7th St.  Click for map.

Services begin at 6:30pm and end between 8:00 and 8:30pm. 

All services are followed by a chance for people to meet, chat and nosh at an Oneg Shabbat.

All Shabbat Services feature the inspiring music of The Shul Band and often feature guest musicians and vocalists. Be a member of the community to celebrate moving events such as baby namings, conversions and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.

Angel Orensanz Foundation

The Shul of New York is proud to hold its High Holiday services and some other events at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, New York's oldest, still-standing synagogue (the third oldest in the United States).
