Join Rabbi Eva and the women of The Shul of New York for a special Rosh Hodesh celebration as we welcome the Hebrew month of Sivan.
Rosh Hodesh is the first day of the new moon. It is tradition for women to gather together to sing, dance, set intentions, and bless one another under the sliver of the crescent moon. We will prepare for Shavuot (which is Thursday evening, May 28). It is the time of honoring the experience of Moses, Miriam and the children of Israel standing at Sinai to receive Torah.
We celebrate the revelation offered to our ancestors and open ourselves to what is revealed to us living in the present. Together, we will share our women-wisdom and explore how we can connect to the unfolding of creation in new and wondrous ways.
Bring your open heart, a candle to light, a journal and pen, and an object or photo that represents your intentions for the coming month.
