Can you devote 10 minutes a day?
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
- Dr Martin Luther King
“Indifference, to me, is the epitome of evil.” - Elie Wiesel
The Shul is embarking on an important journey to educate ourselves in order to better join the fight for racial justice. We invite you to join in a process that will take just 10 minutes a day, and one meeting a week for 30 days.
We’re will use the readings/videos/podcasts outlined in the curriculum developed by the organization, Justice in June, and meet on Zoom to discuss. The various action items suggested in this curriculum will be voluntary, but engaging in the learning on your own time for 10 minutes a day and meeting weekly to discuss are required.
For this program, we want to create a safe environment in which everyone can express their thoughts and feelings. To that end, this event will not be recorded or archived.
We are happy to offer daily Shul Zoom sessions to everyone in these challenging times and hope you are enjoying them. If you would like to make a contribution in any amount to support our efforts, please CLICK HERE. Thank you!
In order to enhance Zoom security, the Shul is now sending passwords for each zoom session in a separate email. Click for full info.
